  • Maryland Energy Administration Request for Information (RFI): Residential Energy Equity - Heat Pump Rebate Program
    The Maryland Energy Administration is requesting input from interested parties on the design of the potential Residential Energy Equity (REE) Heat Pump Rebate Program and strategies for deploying available funding to most effectively benefit low-to-moderate income households. Responses should be submitted via Jotform by September 18, 2026. If respondents cannot submit their responses via Jotform, they should be submitted via email to residentialenergy.mea@maryland.gov with “RFI: REE Heat Pump Rebate Program” in the subject line and the answered questions clearly specified.
  • New York Announces $8 Million for Advanced Fuel Projects
    The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority opened an $8 million funding opportunity for projects focused on emerging low-carbon fuels and supporting infrastructure, including hydrogen and ammonia (PON 6161). The solicitation will support product development, pilot projects, and demonstrations that address energy needs in difficult-to-electrify sectors, including heavy-duty transportation and industry, or provide backup power. Applications are due September 28, 2026, by 3:00 p.m. ET.
